Starting dance can bring excitement and uncertainty. We can explain the options, help with a first class and make the next steps clear.
1 · Tell us about the dancer
Start with the dancer’s age: 2–3, 4–6, 7–9, 10–17, or adults in their late teens and up. Tell us their interests and experience so we can help choose a suitable class.
2 · Confirm the practical details
Check the class time, current fees, registration steps, clothing and footwear before the first visit.
3 · Arrive ready to try
Wear something comfortable, follow the class-specific instructions and tell us if something would help the dancer settle in.
Should we buy shoes first?
Check the requirements for the class before buying. We can explain suitable footwear and direct you to Act One for fitting help.
What if my dancer feels nervous?
Let us know. A conversation about what to expect and what helps your dancer can make the first visit easier.
Will there be a recital?
Ask about the performance plans for the class. We can explain costumes, preparation, filming and the live experience.
How do I know the cost?
Ask us for current tuition, registration and any class-specific costs. We will explain the applicable details before you register.
