Learn dance technique, express yourself freely, have fun, build relationships and belong. Ascension brings recreational dance together with film and theatre performance opportunities.
Brianna & Greg
Teaching and making, together.
Ascension Dance is owned by Brianna Cernanec and Greg Simpson. Brianna leads the studio’s dance teaching and programme life. Greg brings communications, systems, filming and technical production to the work.
We value confidence, creativity, belonging and the steady growth that comes through practice. Beginners should be able to ask questions and families should understand what comes next.

The everyday experience
The environment becomes part of the story.
We decorate our studios for Halloween, Christmas and other seasons, often leaving those environments in place for weeks. Parties and events can add another layer of character to the rooms dancers use every day.
Dance & belonging
Regular classes create time to learn, practise and grow comfortable with others.
Stage & screen
We create live performances and write, stage, film and edit an original holiday movie each year, featuring our dancers.
Space to gather
Our three studios also welcome events, parties, photography, videography and recurring rentals.
